Your Yearly Intention List
A new year is an invitation to begin again with clarity and purpose. This Yearly Intention List is the same tool I use with my clients and in my workshops, and it is the one I share in Chapter 7 of my book, Finding Beauty in the Chaos. It is not about rigid goals or perfect plans. It is about giving your year a direction while staying open to how it unfolds.
Start with your Word of the Year. Before you write a single intention, choose one word that captures the energy and growth you want to embody. Let it come to you rather than forcing it. This word becomes your foundation and your guiding light for the months ahead.
Then set your intentions across the seven Life Pillars:- Self: the foundation of inner peace
- Health: physical and mental well-being
- Relationships: the heart of connection
- The Business of Living: purpose and fulfillment
- Finances: stability and flow
- Community: support and contribution
- Spirituality: connection to your higher self and purpose
When your intentions rest on all seven, your growth becomes whole rather than lopsided. You may find one pillar calling for more attention this year. Trust that. It is showing you where your next layer of healing and growth is waiting.
